Avi is a Senior Associate at nagel + associates. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, and Certified Fraud Examiner with over seven years of professional experience in providing forensic accounting, investigation, audit/assurance and tax services.
Avi’s forensic experience includes investigating complex fraud schemes involving multiple parties. Avi is known for his industry-specific knowledge, technical competency in reviewing financial material and ability to analyze large volumes of data. Avi is also a long-standing cryptocurrency enthusiast who has devoted extensive time researching issues relevant to the forensic accounting practice.
Before joining nagel + associates in 2018, Avi was a Manager in the audit and assurance practice of a “Big 4” public accounting firm, where he served clients in the service and manufacturing sectors, as well as not-for-profit organizations. Avi also brings corporate and personal tax experience, having completed two tax rotations.
Avi graduated with First Class Honours from the Bachelor of Commerce program at Queen’s University, where he also received a Graduate Diploma in Accounting.
