On Tuesday, May 1st, Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP hosted the Second Quarterly Legal Update Meeting. Edward Nagel, Principal, nagel + associates inc. presented along with Eric Hoffstein (currently a Partner at Fogler Rubinoff LLP). The presentation focused on topics relating to the bank’s work with an aging population, including best practices and pitfalls to avoid in working with powers of attorney, addressing capacity concerns, privacy obligations and dealing with fraud and elder abuse.
